Saba Kobakhidze, a member of the One Health Institute (OHI) research team, has been appointed as the Head of the OHI’s in silico Laboratory of Functional Genomics and Proteomics (LFGP). As an emerging researcher, Saba has already made impressive contributions to the field, having authored or co-authored several notable publications in esteemed international journals. These publications have provided valuable contributions to the understanding of phage-host interactions, the transmission of antimicrobial resistance genes, and the metagenomics of seawater ecosystems.
We congratulate Saba on his new appointment and wish him continued success as he leads LFGP in addressing important One Health challenges.
