The One Health Institute (OHI) is a recently established institute with approximately two years of activity. Since its inception, our primary research focus has centered on elucidating the evolutionary dynamics and donor–recipient networks of antimicrobial resistance genes, phage–host interactions, and the population genetic structure and transmission of zoonotic pathogens at both local and global scales. Shortly after its establishment, the OHI was honored to become an affiliated member of the European One Health Association (EOHA), which brings together leading European institutions working in the One Health domain.
